SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


Regional and California prices are 8 cents lower for Jumbo, 6 to 8 cents lower 
for Extra Large, 8 to 8.5 cents lower for Large, 7 to 8 cents lower for Medium,
and 7 cents lower for Small.  Prices in New York are 2 cents lower.  The undertone 
is steady to lower.  Supplies vary by location, ranging light to instances heavy.    
Offerings are moderate to at times heavy.  Retail demand is in a range of light 
to good.  Food service demand is light to moderate.  Market activity continues 
slow to moderate. Breaking stock offerings are light to occasionally heavy for 
the moderate demand.  Spent hen offerings are moderate to heavy for normal 
processing schedules.
